Last seen in 2017 for its 20th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 97 "Silver Bullet" returns in 2022 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The Christian Tresser-designed Nike Air Max 97 is inspired by Japanese water droplets and bullet trains and is dressed in a 'Metallic Silver', 'University Red', 'Black' and 'White' color block. It features a mesh upper with leather overlays, 3M reflective detailing paired with red accents on branding areas. A white midsole, full-length Air Max outsole atop a black rubber outsole completes the design.
