In ‘Issue 3’ of Scenic Views, an eclectic mix of interiors and buildings are documented. Featured are the frog-themed dessert ceramics by the famed David Gilhooly, along with Alan Wolfson’s miniature motel models and murals found in Japan’s bathhouses. Scenic Views examines places that are commonplace and often quickly forgotten. Its publications document a multitude of interiors from bars, hotels, and cafes to apartments, homes, and private rooms. It focuses on those that are frequented so regularly they seem almost invisible, while others simply no longer exist.
