Nuvola Rossa, a solid lacquered red beechwood bookcase with sleek, simple lines, was designed by Vico Magistretti after a lengthy analysis and interpretation of the elements that make up the classic bookcase with sides and shelves. An icon of design but also an authentic structural invention, its diagonal braces become loadbearing elements of support for the shelves and allow the side pieces to be eliminated entirely.
