This chair is one of the best-known models among the furnishings of the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh and was found in several administrative offices of the Secretariat building. It consists of separate elements, including the side supports positioned in the shape of an inverted "V" that converge to support the armrests that are also in solid wood. The woven seat and backrest within a wooden frame are characteristic elements that define the spirit of the place, also expressed in the use of local woods such as teak. Coherently with the more famous Office Chair, this chair without armrests also uses the "V" type supports but, in this case, they are smaller as they do not extend,  to the armrest.  Priority is given to the seat-back sequence in Vienna straw, placed in continuity and joined by two wooden profiles with a massive geometric section, elements that give structure, with the coplanar legs, creating both a powerful and simple form.
