Founded by brothers James and Cyrus Clark in 1825, Clarks Originals is one of England's most important heritage brands. In its early years, the label specialized in slippers and later used its knowledge of the footwear world to expand. Clarks Originals grew in popularity in the early 20th century attracting the British public en masse, attracted by its modern design and quality craftsmanship.
